I just backed The Retro Hour Book on @Kickstarter
I listen to the podcast each week, so wanted to support the cast and the book does sound great.
n 2015, we created The Retro Hour, a retro gaming podcast that is now listened to by millions of people around the world. From the very start, our goal has been to tell the history of the video game industry from the mouths of the people who helped create it.
We have conducted over 350 intimate and candid interviews with some of the gaming world’s greatest programmers, artists, musicians and businessmen. Through these conversations we have created an invaluable archive of personal stories about the trials and tribulations of working in a nascent industry from an international perspective. Now, we have decided it’s time to celebrate and solidify this achievement by releasing our first book.
Featuring 10 of our favourite interviews, The Retro Hour: The History of Video Gaming From Those Who Made It Happen will be a gorgeous, full-colour, premium hardback tome of 400+ pages that provides a unique insight into the careers of these amazing people, and the ways in which they helped shape the world’s biggest entertainment medium.
