RIP Archer Maclean, Legendary British developer. Loved your games

Had my first play on Warzone 2.0, which also included trying a new mode called DMZ. DMZ seemed based on the mechanics of Escape from Tarkov. Quite enjoyed both modes, so will go back. It’s a lot faster than PUBG, and the graphics are really great. I have all the graphics on max setting, with FPS limited to 120. Managing to get between 95-110 FPS when playing.
Played with Lewis and Josh. Lewis and me on PC, Josh welding his PS5. We had a few problems with the in-game chat in the beginning (UI seems a bit stupid), but we managed to get it working after about 5 mins. I really do wish they all would just use Dischord.
I had a game on my own, and so weird. The first game was an open mic. All I could hear whilst playing was a baby crying and a woman shouting, assuming she was shouting at the person playing the game. This went on for the entire round. How can someone just play with the baby crying? They must know others will be able to hear them.

Got my Xbox Live Start-Kit ready, remembering how excited I was when I got this. Played MechAssault and Unreal Championship so much

I am all ready for the World Cup #RETROGAMING #retrocomputing

I just backed The Retro Hour Book on @Kickstarter
I listen to the podcast each week, so wanted to support the cast and the book does sound great.
n 2015, we created The Retro Hour, a retro gaming podcast that is now listened to by millions of people around the world. From the very start, our goal has been to tell the history of the video game industry from the mouths of the people who helped create it.
We have conducted over 350 intimate and candid interviews with some of the gaming world’s greatest programmers, artists, musicians and businessmen. Through these conversations we have created an invaluable archive of personal stories about the trials and tribulations of working in a nascent industry from an international perspective. Now, we have decided it’s time to celebrate and solidify this achievement by releasing our first book.
Featuring 10 of our favourite interviews, The Retro Hour: The History of Video Gaming From Those Who Made It Happen will be a gorgeous, full-colour, premium hardback tome of 400+ pages that provides a unique insight into the careers of these amazing people, and the ways in which they helped shape the world’s biggest entertainment medium.

I feel the best immediate sequels are Jet Set Willy, Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh, Speedball 2. A question posed by RetroGamer_Mag
