loved the look and feel of the Quickshot, but the Speedking (together with The Bug) was my goto weapon of choice :-)

Back in the day. It was the only magazine that seemed to speak to me. The cover for Crash episode one is still my favourite picture of all time, AN ALIEN PLAYING SPACE INVADERS. classic
Happy 40th, ZXSpectrum, and thanks, Clive. You made such an impact on so many people’s lives. An amazing person and talent. How he changed and improved our lives, he should have lots of statues of him throughout the UK.
I got some retro mags for a bank holiday; I even went to WH Smith’s and picked them up. I used to get my Crash and Zzap from them back in the day. Saturday would be a Bus ride to town, hanging out at the local computer shop (my mate Stu worked there), then would hang out at the Arcades and playing the games (centipede, classic). I would then pick up the Crash magazine from WH Smith and then walk home (would take me about 60mins, I would always use the bus money in the arcades ) #RETROGAMING #retrocomputing
