• Outriders, coop session with Plumer. Had a legendary drop

I had a really fun coop session with Mark tonight on OutRiders, got through lots of the story. A few monster hunts and dropped some awesome gear. I managed to lift the world tier up a few levels as well. Such a fun game to play coop

I was playing on Xbox Series X, Mark on the PS5 (Crossplay is king), Using discord for voice comms

  • Planet Of Death, new pickup

The front cover on the cassette is ‘awesome’, a classic. Had to pick this up, one to display.
Adventure A: Planet of Death for the ZXSpectrum 1982 by Artic computing.
I remember at the time finding this advertised in the magazine, the cover art just sold it to me. And I later discovered that Artic computing who developed and publish it was based in Brandburton East Yorkshire, only a few miles from my house at that time :-)

I understand that it was released for mobile recently, will need to check it out.

  • I am weak, pulled the trigger, bought Returnal

I wasn’t going to get it, I was going to wait for the sales. But i am weak, and only lasted one day since the launch. Pulled the trigger, bought Returnal for the PS5t. It looks great, and I adore the developer’s previous games. It seems like the game I would get made if i owned a studio :-) Looking for to this

  • Taito legends, 29 Games that defined a generation

Just picked this up from eBay, Taito Legends for the Xbox. After playing a few of the conversions (classics) on the Xbox series x. Wasn’t impressed xboxone versions (got from the online store).

Picked this up really cheap from eBay and will give this a try.
    – Hoping it is better than the conversions I already have on the Xbox
    – Hoping they work in back compact mode.

I do have them on my arcade cabinet and MiSTerFPGA, but I want to be able to sit back on the sofa and play, whenever i have a spare 15mins. So trying to get as many on my Xbox Series X as a can.

  • Classic Team Kill, PUBG

    Classic moment tonight on PUBG.
I get shot. Lewis slower moves towards the kill room, just about to through a grenade and engage. Chris comes through the door and Team Kills Lewis. Then gets shot himself. Dave then storms the building looking for revenge. So So Funny

  • Vectrex, pics and Gameplay Videos

Trying out the Vectrex, plays great. Controller and screen in great condition. The volume control is a bit temperamental, so I will need to have a look at that. Mine Storm is such a great game, and this console is so unique. Now I need to find the multicart that I have for it.

The Vectrex is a vector display-based home video game console–the only one ever designed and released for the home market, developed by Smith Engineering. It was first released for the North America market in November 1982 and then Europe and Japan in 1983. Originally manufactured by General Consumer Electronics, it was later licensed to Milton Bradley after they acquired the company. Bandai released the system in Japan
