How it started
In September 2023, I made the leap and bought my first pinball machine. It started with a sudden urge to own one, so I headed to the Blackpool Expo with my son Luke to try a few games. After an epic session on Tron, Luke turned to me and said, “Dad, you need to get a machine for home.” That was the spark.
After plenty of research and conversations with other pinheads, I chose Stern’s Godzilla. I loved it so much that another machine arrived within a month—and the garage soon needed insulating to make room for more.
What surprised me most was how much I enjoy repairing and modifying the machines, almost as much as playing them. Pinball has become a genuine passion: playing, collecting, tinkering and meeting some brilliant people along the way.

The newest arrival and already a firm favourite. A beautifully presented Keith Elwin game with Expression Lighting, upgraded speakers and wonderfully flowing gameplay.

Lethal Weapon 3
A lively early-90s Data East game packed with humour, music and satisfying shots. It also joined World Cup Soccer for its first trip to UK Pinfest.

Medusa
The oldest machine in the collection: a striking classic Bally with wonderfully distinctive artwork and old-school gameplay.

Twilight Zone
One of pinball’s all-time classics, packed with toys, modes and wonderfully deep rules. It has also become a great machine for carefully chosen mods.

The Getaway: High Speed II
Fast, loud and built around pure flow. The Supercharger and its unmistakable soundtrack make every game feel like a proper event.

World Cup Soccer
A wonderfully accessible football-themed classic that always attracts a crowd. It proved especially popular throughout UK Pinfest 2026.

The machine that started everything. Deep rules, brilliant mechs and superb shots—including that scoop backhand that still feels ridiculously satisfying.
The collection keeps evolving
Machines may come and go, but the enjoyment is always the same: learning the rules, improving the setup, adding the occasional mod and sharing the games with friends and family.
