jUST sTARTED ‘tHE aSCENT’
Just started one of my highly anticipated games of the year ‘The Ascent’. Although i have it on xbox gamepass, decided to buy it on Steam. Wanted to support the developers, and hoping the steam version gets updated first ;-)
Completed the first boss, really enjoying it. The world and graphics are incredible. But i had to do some messing around with some hacks to get Ultrawide Monitor support without a zoom in, also had a few bugs in the options screen. and Think i will be messing around with directx 12 and raytracing, before i am fine with the game. Also experieinced some frame rate slowdown. Roll on patch :-) worth it though

Gunfire reborn, new character unlocked
Having a great time with #GunfireReborn , unlocked a new character last night and beat the first boss in my first run with it (Dual Wielding crazy fun) . unlocked some cool weapons and mods. including Thunderclap Gloves @chrisbrookes

My top games of #e32021
- Bethesda Starfield . A space adventure RPG, I want it now. Everything shown was in-engine, looks incredible. These do create the best open worlds that you want to hang out in
- Arcanes Studios Redfall. So cant wait to play this class-based shooter. Single and multiplayer fun, the weapons and skills looked so cool.
- FromSoftware Elden Ring. more darks souls and open-world, this time with a horse. (please be witcher3/darksouls mixup)
- Weird Beluga Studio , Clid the Snail. Crazy looking, music blasting top-down shooter. Yes
Regarding the shows, i would say the Microsoft one interested me the most with the content they showed, shame so much of it is 2022. But understandable really given the impact the panademic has had. Also great to see them embrace CrossPlay, and same day release with PC.

Outriders, coop session with Plumer. Had a legendary drop
I had a really fun coop session with Mark tonight on OutRiders, got through lots of the story. A few monster hunts and dropped some awesome gear. I managed to lift the world tier up a few levels as well. Such a fun game to play coop
I was playing on Xbox Series X, Mark on the PS5 (Crossplay is king), Using discord for voice comms

I am weak, pulled the trigger, bought Returnal
I wasn’t going to get it, I was going to wait for the sales. But i am weak, and only lasted one day since the launch. Pulled the trigger, bought Returnal for the PS5t. It looks great, and I adore the developer’s previous games. It seems like the game I would get made if i owned a studio :-) Looking for to this

Taito legends, 29 Games that defined a generation
Just picked this up from eBay, Taito Legends for the Xbox. After playing a few of the conversions (classics) on the Xbox series x. Wasn’t impressed xboxone versions (got from the online store).
Picked this up really cheap from eBay and will give this a try.
– Hoping it is better than the conversions I already have on the Xbox
– Hoping they work in back compact mode.I do have them on my arcade cabinet and MiSTerFPGA, but I want to be able to sit back on the sofa and play, whenever i have a spare 15mins. So trying to get as many on my Xbox Series X as a can.
