i have the mini, it’s a fun bit of kit. But if you fancy trying some retro, I would suggest going for a Pi, and installing retroPI.
If you have a PC, you can also just install an emulator
. A more expensive but cooler solution is the MiSTer FPGA

this i think was the first i ever got , a present at Xmas when I was a kid. i restored it a few yrs back
