    My top games of #e32021

    • Bethesda Starfield . A space adventure RPG, I want it now. Everything shown was in-engine, looks incredible. These do create the best open worlds that you want to hang out in
    • Arcanes Studios Redfall. So cant wait to play this class-based shooter. Single and multiplayer fun, the weapons and skills looked so cool.
    • FromSoftware Elden Ring. more darks souls and open-world, this time with a horse. (please be witcher3/darksouls mixup)
    • Weird Beluga Studio , Clid the Snail. Crazy looking, music blasting top-down shooter. Yes


      Regarding the shows, i would say the Microsoft one interested me the most with the content they showed, shame so much of it is 2022. But understandable really given the impact the panademic has had. Also great to see them embrace CrossPlay, and same day release with PC.

    These pics pop up on my feed, great times with the guys. I think this would have been about 2002ish (lan in Nottingham). Before CS-GO, Counter-Strike Source, we had Counter-Strike 1.6. What a fantastic game; this changed everything. We played this for about 4 years, only moving on when WOW hit the community :-) Not sure what the event was, but holy crap, i remember having to carry around them CRT screens :-) CultGaming Forever xx

    We played CS 1.6, then moved to CS Source, with some of us then moving onto CS:Go. But CS 1.6 started it all; we had our own servers, built custom maps, had our own community, held community games nights, and played in competitions. Great times

  • Gunfire Reborn

    Gunfire Reborn

    Chris is obsessed with this Roguelike FPS (RPG), so I had to give it a try. A few hrs in, and yes, it’s bloody good. I want to level up my character, get new loot and I really need to kill the end boss of the first level. The shooting mechanics are solid. It feels really good. Amazing loot, boss design, some fun to be had.
    Not tried it yet multiplayer (Chris is on hols), but looking forward to that. AND dropping some better loot :-) and only £7

    Astro AquaKitty , Completed First Run

    Hammered this game ever since it was released, just completed first run through. So much much. The variety of weapons and powerups, makes for an amazing gaming expereince, Several times I had to switch Guns, Powerups and tactics to get by some of the sections and end of level bosses.
    Already wanting to begin a new run through, with another character type and combos :-)

    So excited to play this game, its from one of my favorites developers. TIKIPOD
    Played the previous game so much, still playing it . Wasnt sure to get PC or XboxX version, went for PC

    I have now played a few hrs,
    Loving this game, some great weapons and powerups and the tune is so awesome (so retro) #TikiPodLtd nailed it again. The dificulty is scaling up really well, giving me time to try out new weapons/powerups and combos. SO MUCH FUN

    Returnal, Phrike Boss Fight (Boss #1, Full Fight)

    Finally managed to take down Phrike, the Boss from the Overgrown Ruins biome.
    Stage one and two went really well, not much damage taken. But holy crap, in stage three I made so many errors and took so much damage. Luckily I was equipped with a ‘Spaceman’ (extra life) and a healing item. Think the nerves got to me towards the end.
    Loving the game, but bloody hell it can be brutal
