Pinball Collection

In September 2023, I made the leap and bought my very first pinball machine. It started with a sudden urge to own one, so I headed to the Blackpool Expo with my son Luke to try a few games. After an epic session on Tron, Luke turned to me and said, ‘Dad, you need to get a machine for home.’ That was the spark.

After plenty of research and chatting with other pinheads, I decided on Stern’s Godzilla and bought it brand new in box—mainly for the peace of mind that came with a warranty. I loved it so much that within a month I added a second machine, and even started insulating the garage to make space for more. Before I knew it, I was fully pulled into the pinball world—forums, podcasts, and hunting down machines out in the wild.

What surprised me most was how much I enjoy fixing and modding the machines, almost as much as playing them. I’ve spent countless hours reading, tinkering, and watching tutorials, and it’s become a whole new passion.
